About The Author

Joanna is an American who was born in Poland. When she was a kid she emigrated to the United States with her parents. There she went to high school, college, and subsequently worked in the corporate sector of Manhattan. After many years of living in New York City, she decided to return to her native Poland in order to explore her roots and see what it’s like to live in Europe.  In November 2012 after receiving her CELTA certification from Teaching House in Manhattan she departed for Gdansk, Poland.  Her intention was to stay there for a period of no longer than six months to a year while teaching ESL. However, faith had something else in store for her, and…after meeting her true love in Poland, she decided to stay longer and got married. Joanna has many interests. Aside from fashion and beauty, Joanna also loves horses and riding. She took English riding lessons in Poland and plans on continuing to ride once back in the states. In addition, Joanna likes to read autobiographies, and enjoys to take long walks in nature.
